‘Star rating system’ to be introduced for aged-care homes

Sky News host Paul Murray says a new “star rating system” will be introduced for aged-care facilities in Australia.

“This will eventually become public in the next few days but all of the people who run these systems have been told what their current rating is,” he said.

“And you know what, it’s a disgrace.

“Just one per cent of more than two and a half thousand residential aged care homes in the country is going to get five stars.”
