Meghan Markle is a “ruthless social climber” who quickly cuts people loose when she no longer needs them so she can “move on up the ladder”, Sky News Australia host Piers Morgan says.

The first three episodes of Prince Harry and Meghan’s bombshell Netflix series aired in Australia on Thursday night, with the Duke and Duchess of Sussex opening up on their love story and Meghan’s first experiences of royal life.

The royal couple discussed Meghan’s relationship with her biological father Thomas Markle, where Harry claimed his wife no longer has a father.

Mr Morgan discussed the issue with Meghan’s half-brother Thomas Markle Jnr.

“It just seems to me that she has decided you’re all too big a problem therefore you have to be cut loose,” Mr Morgan said.

“Did exactly the same to me … she did that to many people she knew.”
