Labour Party promised gas ‘prices would come down during this first term government’

Shadow Minister Foreign Affairs Simon Birmingham says the Labour party promised gas “prices would come down during this first term government”.

“Instead, they forecast in their budget dramatic increases but had no plan to deal with it,” he told Sky News Australia.

“Timings the first problem and the other problem soon really is whether the types of intervention their going to undertake in the long run just make a difficult situation worse …… will they actually scare off investors in the future.”
