Archie has adorable American accent after moving to California
Archie’s adorable American accent has been heard again in Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s new Netflix show.
The three-year-old has played a starring role in the first three episodes despite his parents keeping him out of the spotlight since they moved to California in 2020.
In one episode, Harry takes Archie for a walk in the countryside, believed to be near their home in Montecito.
The duke sings Heigh-Ho from Snow White while the toddler trots down a path with their pet Labrador.
We are then taken back home where Harry is looking at hummingbirds with Archie in their garden.
‘We won’t get a chance to be this close to hummingbirds ever again,’ Harry tells him.
Archie asks ‘why?’ before suddenly exclaiming: ‘I’ve got a dirty foot mama because I was with you!’
Meghan, who is filming, stifles a laugh and tells him: ‘You’ve got a dirty foot, sweetheart. Papa is a birdwatcher so this is a really big moment for him.’
During the explosive docuseries, Meghan said they have been ‘really conscious about protecting our kids as best we can and also understanding the role they play in this really historical family’.
Harry has also been vocal about wanting to shield Archie and his one-year-old sister Lilibet from the same public scrutiny he and Prince William endured when they were young.
‘My son, my daughter, my children are mixed race and I’m really proud of that,’ he says off-camera.
‘When my kids grow up and they back look at this moment and they turn to me, they say, “What did you do in this moment?” I want to be able to give them an answer.’
