Government ‘working through’ issues with coal price cap

Climate Change and Energy Minister Chris Bowen says the government has been “working through” issues associated with placing a price cap on coal.
One of the issues includes coal companies not adhering to the cap.
“We’ve been talking to the states about their understanding, I mean some of the states own the power stations, other states regulate the power stations, they’ve got very good data on the power stations cost structure,” Mr Bowen told Sky News Australia.
“That is the reason why this has taken a little while to work through.”
