‘Spiralling gas prices’ are not necessarily a ‘great thing’ for the gas sector

Rennie Partners’ Matt Rennie says the “spiralling gas prices” are not necessarily a “great thing” for the gas sector.

“Very high gas prices just precipitate decisions that consumes will make and industries will make to shift away from gas,” Mr Rennie said.

“I don’t think this necessarily works that well for the gas companies.”
