Australians to spend big in festive season despite economy fears

Australians are set to spend big in the first restriction-free Christmas since the start of the pandemic despite fears of the economy coming to a standstill in the new year.

Christmas sales are expected to lift this festive season, following a seven per cent decline over recent years and bumper Black Friday sales.
