Federal government needs to ‘deliver’ on electricity price promises

NSW Treasurer Matt Kean says the issue of electricity price rises is a “national problem” that requires a “national solution”.

“The Commonwealth government said that they would do whatever it takes to ease electricity price rises for families and businesses,” Mr Kean told Sky News Australia.

“And we expect them to do that.

“I just want to see them come up with a solution and deliver on the promise they made to the Australian community. “
