Victorian health system could buckle under COVID pressure
A 30 per cent rise in COVID infections means Victoria’s health system could come under immense pressure.
According to the state’s health department, nearly 27,000 new cases were recorded in the past week.
Health officials have lifted the system response framework to stage 3, which means there may be more telehealth appointments.
