Albanese insists Taiwan trip ‘isn’t a government visit’

Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese says the Australian MPs visiting Taiwan “isn’t a government visit”.
Six Australian MPs will conduct a five-day visit to Taiwan to allay Taipei’s concerns that Australia’s efforts to improve relations with China will come at a cost to the relationship with Taiwan.
Trade, security, and agriculture are expected to dominate talks during the five-day visit, as Australia aims to preserve peace in the Indo-Pacific Region.
