Albanese government facing ‘reality checks’ on energy and cost of living issues next year
There are “reality checks” for the Albanese government next year, according to former Howard government minister Peter McGauran.
“Particularly on energy, cost of living, but you’ve got to say that he’s achieved his major objectives,” he told Sky News Australia.
It comes after parliament passed the government’s National Anti-Corruption Commission bill and “pro-union” industrial relations bill.
