Families of victims of the Uvalde school shooting file lawsuit against law enforcement

The families of victims of the school shooting in Uvalde, Texas, have launched a $US27 billion class action lawsuit against local law enforcement.

The lawsuit names the city of Uvalde, its police department and school district, the Texas Department of Public Safety and several police officers and school officials.

It alleges the departments and officials failed to follow active shooter protocols.
