The government needs to take ‘practical action’ after Closing the Gap report

Sky News host Andrew Bolt says there is a pattern already with the Albanese government as it apply a lot of politics and symbolism but no “practical action” to Indigenous communities.

“Today we got the latest Closing the Gap report, which again showed terrible results of tackling Aboriginal well-being, and that’s even after tens of thousands of people who used to identify as white now calling themselves Aboriginal,” Mr Bolt said.

“Only a third of Aboriginal children are school ready … huge numbers of children are removed from their homes for their safety … (and) shocking numbers of adults are in jail.”
