Prince William and Kate Middleton will meet US President Joe Biden as they visit Boston on Friday.
The Prince and Princess of Wales will be greeted by President Biden on their three day trip to the US.

At the ceremony, William will be handing out five £1million prizes to incredible winners all aiming to solve the world’s biggest environmental problems.

It is their first overseas visit since the death of Prince William’s grandmother, Queen Elizabeth, which he noted in a statement upon his arrival.
White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre said: ‘We’re still finalizing and working through the details.
‘We don’t have any more specifics to share on that.’
In a statement on their arrival the Prince said: ‘On this, our first overseas visit since the death of my grandmother, I would like to thank the people of Massachusetts and particularly of Boston for their many tributes paid to the late Queen.
‘She remembered her 1976 bicentennial visit with great fondness,’ the Prince of Wales shared. ‘My grandmother was one of life’s optimists. And so am I.
‘That is why last year we launched the Earthshot Prize with the ambition to create a truly global platform to inspire hope and urgent optimism as we look to save the future of our planet.’
Friday will be the first official meeting between President Biden and the Prince and Princess.
Biden met the late Queen Elizabeth, and King Charles, on numerous occasions over the years. In 2021, he met Prince William at the COP26 UN Climate Change Conference in Glasgow.
Earlier this year, President Biden traveled to the UK for Queen Elizabeth’s state funeral, and spoke with King Charles to offer his condolences.
He said: ‘In the years ahead, we look forward to continuing a close friendship with The King and The Queen Consort.’
