Annual inflation rate falls to 6.9 per cent

Australia’s annual inflation rate has dropped from 7.3 per cent to 6.9 per cent.

Sky News Business Reporter Edward Boyd says we’re starting to see inflation fall in Australia.

“This is actually quite surprising because a lot of economists were expecting to see inflation continue rising throughout the year,” Mr Boyd said.

“We’re not sure yet whether this is just a one-off month blip or not.”
