Sarah Ferguson has been invited to spend Christmas with the Royal Family for the first time in 30 years, according to reports.

Fergie was snubbed from festive celebrations after her split with Prince Andrew in 1992.

It thought Prince Philip was furious when she was pictured having her toe sucked by financial adviser John Bryan months after the break-up.

But, with King Charles in charge this year, Wood Farm on the Sandringham Estate is being prepared for the Duke of York, his ex-wife and their daughters Beatrice and Eugenie.

Fergie may even appear in public with the royals on their Christmas morning walk to St Mary Magdalene Church.

It will be the first Christmas since the disgraced Duke of York was stripped of his military titles and royal patronages.

It comes after Virginia Giuffre alleged Andrew sexually abused her on three occasions while she was 17.

He strongly denied the claims and reached an out-of-court settlement with her in February.

A source is said to have told The Sun: ‘Andrew is banned from public life but you can’t ban him from family Christmas. Staff at Sandringham have been tasked with getting Wood Farm ready for the whole York family.

‘When she split with Andrew, Sarah was never allowed at the family Christmas Eve and Christmas Day while Philip and the Queen were alive.

‘For 30 years she used to have Christmas dinner on her own. But things are being done differently now.’

This year will also be the family’s first Christmas without the Queen, who died at the age of 96 in September after a 70-year reign.

If Fergie chooses to accept the invite, she will likely join the family on Christmas Eve to swap presents in Sandringham’s White Room.

It’s believed they will come together for a black tie evening dinner on Christmas Day.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are not expected to fly over from America to join celebrations.

But Zara Tindall will be invited with her I’m A Celebrity star husband, Mike Tindall, who came fourth in the reality TV show.

He recently predicted some ‘interesting’ Christmas gifts, saying: ‘There’s some sense of humour kicking around in the family, so yeah, I’ll wait for some interesting gifts to see how many people were watching.’
