US missile may have taken down $12 hobbyists’ balloon
A hobby group called the Northern Illinois Bottlecap Balloon Brigade has declared that one of their party-style pico balloons went missing in Alaska the same place a US fighter jet shot down an object.
US authorities have remained tight-lipped about the three unidentified objects shot down while flying over the country last week.
